United Way of the Bluegrass (UWBG) reserves the right to change this user agreement at any time without notice. By using this website, you accept this Privacy Policy.
 
INFORMATION SHARING
UWBG respects your privacy and will never sell, trade, share or rent your personal information to partners, member non-profits or any other third parties without your prior consent. Our Donor Privacy Policy applies to all information received by UWBG, both online and offline including any written, verbal or electronic communications.
 
INFORMATION COLLECTION
Signing Up for e-Mail Communications:
When you sign up to receive e-mail updates, we ask for your full name and e-mail address.
 
Donating Online:
When you donate online by credit card, you must submit your full name, credit card number and billing information. This information allows us to process and fulfill your donation and notify you of your donation status.
 
Your IP Address:
An IP address is a number assigned to your computer automatically when you use the Internet. At no time is your IP address linked to personal information that identifies you as the owner.

Usage Tracking
UWBG tracks user traffic patterns with Google Analytics. This information is not associated with individual users and is intended only for the purpose of website enhancement.

Community Supporters Database
UWBG retains information provided by users in a secure database. This database may be used to verify donation transactions, thank supporters for their contributions, help keep supporters informed or to solicit future donations.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of private information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure all information collected. The use of SSL encryption is applied for all online, financial transactions, with those transactions being stored on a separate physical server in a secure database.
